Texas Hold 'Em Tournament
The 11th annual Texas Hold’em Tournament will begin at 6:45pm on Friday, September 1st
under the lunch tent at St. Remy Hall. For advance sign-up contact Jay Grieshop at

Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament
Register your team of 3 girls and 3 guys for Saturday, September 2nd. Pool play tournament
for $60. Games will be held in the park near the track starting at 9:00 am. For advance
sign-up contact Craig at (419) 852-1335. Or sign-up 30 minutes before (limited teams).
Cutest Baby Contest
If you would like to participate in the annual Cutest Baby Contest, please bring an 8x10 baby
picture and the $5.00 entry fee to the rectory office or place it in the folder located on the
table inside the rectory door by Wednesday, August 30th. The baby must be 0-12 months
old. You can enter your own child or a grandchild. Please include the baby's full name, date
of birth, and the names of the parents and grandparents with the photo. All pictures will be
available for pick-up after the picnic at the rectory office. If you have any questions, please

C&S Amusements of Dayton, Ohio will again provide mechanical rides this year. Rides for all
ages will be Saturday 5:30 – 11:00pm and Sunday 2:00 – 10:00pm. Presale wristbands only
will be sold for $15/day at Buschur’s Market until Saturday, September 2nd @ noon.
Individual ride tickets at the picnic will be $1.00 each and wristbands will be $20/day each.
Each ride will take 2-3 tickets. Wristbands are good ALL DAY. They will also be providing
carnival games and food trailers.
Running Raider 5K
The annual Running Raider 5K will be on Sunday, September 3rd. The start of the race is
9:00am. Borchers, Liberty, Main, Kelch, Versailles and St. Remy streets will be closed for the
race. A one mile fun run will be held after the 5K. All runners and walkers are welcome! For

Russia Homecoming's 5th annual Dodgeball tournament. Balls fly at noon on Sunday,
September 3rd with four age divisions: 13 & under, 14-17, 18-30, and 30 & over. There is a
$15.00 entry fee per team and no limit on the number of teams Cash prizes TBD by the
number of teams. Gather your team of 6 and send the team name to Paul & Joyce Bremigan
at firstname.lastname@example.org. Day of sign up is 11:30am east of St. Remy Hall.
Is your baby the next all-star crawler? Enter them into the 7th annual Diaper Derby on
Sunday, September 3rd at 1:30. Babies will compete against each other to prove just how
fast they can get to mom and dad. Contact Amy Monnin (email@example.com) or
Lynne Dapore (firstname.lastname@example.org) to enter your child or arrive 10 minutes prior to
the start of the event at the Entertainment Tent.
Lip Sync Contest
Join us for the 7th annual Lip Sync contest. This will be held under the Entertainment Tent
on Sunday at 3:00pm. There is a $10 fee to enter. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3

Adult Cornhole Tournament
Sunday at 2:00pm. Bring your own team and sign up at the festival by or beforehand by
contacting Wes & Jayme Goubeaux at email@example.com or sign up at the Beer
Stand. Entry fee of $20.00 per team, cash prizes.
Junior High / High School Cornhole Tournament
Sunday at 6:30pm. Bring your own team and sign up at the festival or beforehand by
contacting Mike Monnin at firstname.lastname@example.org or sign up at the Beer Stand. Entry fee of
$5.00 per team, cash prizes.
Elementary Cornhole Tournament
Saturday at 1:00pm. Sign up 30 minutes before east of St. Remy Hall.
Kiddie Tractor Pull
The Kiddie Tractor Pull will be held on Sunday at 2:00pm for age groups 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 &
9-10. There is no cost and sign-ups will be Sunday @ 1:00pm on St. Remy Street.
Straw Pile Hunt
Saturday at 7:00pm. Sign-up 10 minutes before east of the Fish Pond.
